The U.S. and the European Union have reached an agreement on new post-Brexit tariff rate quotas. Acting U.S. Trade Representative Maria Pagán issued a statement Monday saying the new agreement will determine how to split TRQ quantities between the United Kingdom and the remaining E.U. countries.
The USTR statement did not give specifics about the agreement, which still must be signed and implemented after formal procedures in the E.U. Pagán says once implemented, the agreement will provide market access certainty for U.S.
