At the Chicago Mercantile Exchange, live and feeder cattle closed mostly higher watching corn and direct cash business develop. April live cattle closed $.30 higher at $119.65 and June live cattle closed $.50 higher at $119.65. March feeder cattle closed $1.80 higher at $137.15 and April feeder cattle closed $2.40 higher at $142.07.
It was a relatively slow Tuesday for direct cash cattle trade, with just a little live trade reported in parts of Nebraska, Texas, and Colorado at $113 to $114 live.
