A light to moderate direct cash cattle trade is underway.  Live deals in the South are at $114, fully steady with the bulk of last week’s business.  Bids in other parts of cattle country are at $113 live and $178 to $180 dressed.  Asking prices are around $115 to $116 live in the South, while the North is quiet.  There was a light trade on Tuesday in Nebraska and Colorado at $114 live, also steady with last week’s business in those areas.
