CEO Emily Skor says Growth Energy is optimistic about the potential for the biofuels industry under the Biden administration.
She says Ag Secretary Tom Vilsack understands renewable fuels and what ethanol has to offer.
“He’s intimately knowledgeable and familiar with ethanol and so we could be happier to have someone from the Midwest, someone who understands biofuels, and the full proposition of ethanol in the USDA,” she says.
But, she says most of the regulations that impact the industry come out of the EPA.
