Direct cash cattle trade activity is quiet.  There are just a few bids that have surfaced at $178 dressed in the North.  While there could be a little cleanup trade take place today, it’s likely the bulk of the week’s business has wrapped up.  Asking prices for cattle left on showlists are around $115 to $116 live in the South and $182 plus dressed in the North.  There’s been light to moderate trade take place throughout the week.
