Milk futures on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange started continued their mostly lower trade Tuesday following negative global markets while cash markets were mixed.
March Class III milk a penny higher at $16.35. April down 10 cents at $17.42. May 13 cents lower at $18.05. June down four cents at $18.15. July through September contracts two to five cents lower.
Dry whey up $0.0025 at $0.5975.
Blocks unchanged at $1.80.
Barrels up $0.0025 at $1.5425. One sale was made at that price.
