The Nebraska Farm Bureau is urging the EPA to reregister glyphosate’s use for farmers. Jordan Dux with Nebraska Farm Bureau said glyphosate has allowed farmers to utilize more conservation friendly practices like no-till farming while still producing high yields.
“What has happened in the way of: how many farmers, the increase of acres and no-till and minimal till farming that has happened, a lot of that has been because of the availability of glyphosate to farmers and ranchers across this country,” he said.
