The shortage of shipping containers and port congestion continue to present challenges for global trade.

Bo DeLong, vice-president of grain for the DeLong Company says, “I’m hoping we’re through this by the time we get to next fall.”

He says the shortage won’t resolve within the next couple of weeks, but he’s optimistic relief is in sight.  “Even in the last week, we’re starting to see some customers come back,” he says.
