At the Chicago Mercantile Exchange, live and feeder cattle ended the day higher, supported by the stronger cash trade. Feeders found additional support from the day’s mostly lower move in corn. April live Cattle ended the day unchanged at $119.12 and June live cattle closed $.25 higher at $120.30. March feeder cattle closed $.32 higher at $135.77 and April feeder cattle closed $2.70 higher at $142.45.
A light to moderate direct cash cattle trade developed across all feeding areas on Wednesday.
