The Michigan Primary Care Association is working on behalf of their community health centers to determine the need for food and ag worker COVID-19 vaccine clinics.
Jackie Chandler tells Brownfield there is an intense need in the food and ag sector for specialized support and the essential workers remain a prioritized population as more vaccines become available.
“We know that to get millions and millions of folks that are 16 and older vaccinated in the state of Michigan, this is going to have to happen through a lot of different vaccinating providers,” she says.
