The American Egg Board has unveiled the 2021 First Lady’s Commemorative Egg, a gift to Dr. Jill Biden and an Easter tradition on behalf of U.S. egg farmers.

President and CEO Emily Metz describes it as a beautiful egg with an image of the White House surrounded by flowering cherry blossoms.

“With those cherry blossoms blooming it’s the symbol of hope, spring, and renewal and I think that’s a message we all need right now as we’re still trying to grapple with this pandemic, start fresh, and hopefully have a better year this year,” she says.
