Growth Energy is urging Indiana Governor Eric Holcomb to veto Senate Bill 303. Following a letter from nine Hoosier ethanol plant managers asking Holcomb to veto the bill, Growth Energy CEO Emily Skor sent a letter today also calling on the governor to act.
Skor says the legislation seeks to limit E15 sales by mandating warning labels on E15 fuel dispensers. She says they will confuse consumers by adding a “needless label that conflicts with language already on federally required stickers.” The legislation threatens new markets key to revitalizing income for Hoosier farmers, she says.
