Governor Walz and members of his cabinet are promoting the Biofuels Infrastructure Budget proposal during a stop in New Hope today.
Minnesota House Ag Committee chair Mike Sundin will join Walz this afternoon and tells Brownfield the proposal provides $2 million in grants to help expand access to renewable fuels.
“Gas-powered cars are going to be in our future for years to come, so we need to make them the cleanest fuel available for folks.”
The Governor says the program would enable Minnesota filling station owners to upgrade their tanks, pumps, and other equipment so they can safely dispense a wider variety of ethanol blends.
