A farmer in south-central Minnesota feels good about soil moisture going into planting.
Sam Ziegler of Good Thunder tells Brownfield river levels are a little low.
“But overall, our soil has some pretty good moisture-holding capacity. So I thought we were okay going into the spring anyway, but this little extra water sure will help recharge it.”
He says the last snow event back in March dumped nearly a foot that soaked in nicely.
