A dairy economist says the latest supply and demand numbers from USDA are concerning when it comes to feed supplies.
“It was not as robust as expected and there’s concern that we’re going to see much tighter feed supplies here in the U.S.”
Tanner Ehmke with CoBank tells Brownfield he’s also watching the development of Brazil’s second corn crop.
“There’s some concern’s that Brazil’s not going to have the best weather for that corn crop and so that may yet again be another boost to feed prices here in the U.S.,” he says.
