The USDA’s Food Safety and Inspection Service has issued a public health alert for more than 200,000 pounds of raw ground turkey that may be linked to Salmonella Hadar illness in 12 states. The products were produced by Plainville Brands from Pennsylvania and shipped to retail locations across the country.
A recall was not requested because the products are no longer available for consumers to purchase.
The products were produced from December 18, 2020, through December 29, 2020, and are under the brands Nature’s Promise, Wegman, and Plainville Farms.
