A farmer in the Tennessee Valley says the recent rainfall they received was welcomed.

Don Holbert tells Brownfield the ground had been saturated since about Christmas, but then moisture turned off. “I got about 200 acres in the ground on the 5th, 6th, and 7th of April,” he says.  “And honestly up until today we were getting dry and I’m actually pretty concerned about it.”

He tells Brownfield at the end of harvest last year they decided to make the switch to 100 percent soybeans.
