The US and China reportedly have agreed to cooperate on climate change but it’s unclear if China’s president will participate in President Biden’s international summit later this week.
CNBC reports Biden is expected to release new emissions reduction targets for the Paris climate accord and a pledge of financial help for less wealthy countries combatting climate change.
Forty world leaders have been invited to the virtual climate summit this Thursday and Friday.
