The dairy industry is using Earth Day as a segue into sustainability efforts of farmers.
Heather Oldani, executive VP communications for Dairy Management Inc., tells Brownfield, “Earth Day gives us that special moment in time when consumers and others are thinking about the earth, thinking about environmental stewardship.” “It gives us that moment to shine a spotlight on dairy farmers’ stories,” she says.
She says it also gives an opportunity to discuss the industry’s Net Zero goals.
