The newly combined South Dakota Department of Agriculture and Natural Resources (DANR) is officially operating this week under the direction of Hunter Roberts.
Governor Kristi Noem says the combination of the state Ag Department with the Department of Environment and Natural Resources will be more effective, efficient, and responsive to the needs of farmers.
Roberts credits Noem’s vision saying ag and natural resource protection go hand-in-hand.
