A southwest Indiana farmer has just a few acres to go before he wraps up planting.
Mark Seib tells Brownfield he began planting at the end of March.
“Ground conditions were perfect, and we were looking into going into 80-degree weather for the whole next week so we began planting soybeans,” he says. “In the last two years our best soybeans have been those that we planted early, so we went ahead and started planting soybeans the last week of March.
