Corn planting fell behind in Missouri last week under abnormally cool conditions.
The USDA says Corn planted reached 20 percent last week, that’s less than half of the five-year average. Five percent of the crop has emerged, one percent ahead of last year.
Soybean planting is ahead of last year at three percent of the crop in. one percent of the crop has emerged.
Rice planting reached 44 percent, 24 percent ahead of last year.
