A Missouri farmer says he’s focused on marketing his grain while he waits to plant. Josh Johnson tells Brownfield he didn’t expect current high price levels for corn and soybeans.

“I almost am more nervous marketing in markets like this because there’s so much to be lost verses when you’re on the other end and you feel like you’re in low prices,” he said. “You’re looking for high ones and usually don’t have as much to lose.”

The east-central Missouri corn and soybean grower said he’s keeping a close eye on when to market both commodities.
