Indiana Governor Eric Holcomb has vetoed Senate Enrolled Act 303, legislation that would require an additional label on E15 fuel dispensers.
In a letter, Holcomb said he vetoed the bill “due to its requirement of a duplicative label at every pump that dispenses E15” in Indiana. The EPA requires all E15 pumps to have a label, and he says an additional label would be unnecessary and confusing.
Holcomb says he does support a provision in the bill that redefines gasohol and makes clear that E15 can be sold year-round in the state.
