June live cattle closed $.60 higher at $116.05 and August live cattle closed $.92 higher at $117.40. May feeder cattle closed $.87 higher at $135.85 and August feeder cattle closed $.97 higher at $149.87.
A very light round of direct cash cattle trade took place on Thursday.
