A quiet start to the day for direct cash cattle trade following the light to moderate trade that took place on Wednesday.  Bids have yet to resurface today and asking prices are around $120 live in the South and $192 plus dressed in the North.  We could see at least a little more business take place over the balance of the week.  Deals in the South on Wednesday were at $118 to $120 about steady to $1 lower than last week’s business.
