The month of May is always a busy time at the Marshalltown YMCA/YWCA as it transitions to spring and summer programs. One program that keeps growing…is pickleball. But what if you’ve never tired it and you feel a little awkward trying to get into an established group to learn? The Y will be holding Pickleball for Beginners on Tuesdays and Thursdays mornings during May from 9 to 11.
Y CEO Carol Hibbs says it is free to Y members, but if you’re interested you can attend the sessions twice at no charge. Hibbs adds a limited number of pickleball paddles will be available for use.
