A disturbance will reach the mid-Atlantic Coast on Friday. Subsequently, a storm system moving ashore in the Northwest will drift southeastward, arriving across the central Plains during the weekend. That system will also traverse the middle Atlantic States, reaching the coast by Monday. North of the path of the two storms, mostly dry weather will prevail during the next 5 days from the upper Great Lakes region into northern New England.
