Northeast Nebraska farmer Ed Lammers says conditions have been nearly ideal this planting season.
“Soil conditions are really great—they’re the best soil conditions I’ve planted in for quite awhile,” he says.
He tells Brownfield he should wrap up planting soon.
“As far as soybeans, I have about 85 percent of my soybeans planted,” he says. “I started with them around April 25 and then moved to corn on April 29.
