Milk futures on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange started the week mostly higher correcting some oversold positions follow last week’s slide.
May Class III milk up four cents at $18.86. June down seven cents at $18.82. July up a penny at $19.20. August up four cents at $19.36. September through November contracts four to six cents higher.
Dry whey unchanged at $0.6275.
Blocks up $0.02 at $1.7675. Three trades were made from $1.75 to $1.7675.
Barrels down $0.0375 at $1.6950. Six trades were made from $1.6850 to $1.71.
Butter up $0.0125 at $1.7825. One trade was made at $1.7725.
Nonfat dry milk unchanged at $1.3225. Two trades were made at that price.
