Corn planting in South Dakota is 66% complete, well ahead of last year and the average. Emergence is three-percent. Soybean planting is also ahead at 32% complete as of Sunday. One-percent has emerged.

Spring wheat planting is just over 90% and emergence is 60%. Winter wheat condition is nearly 80% fair to good with 20% poor to very poor.

Oats are in similar condition with nearly 60% emerged.

HALF of south Dakota pasture and range conditions are poor to very poor while the other half is fair to good.
