Cool and dry conditions accelerated the planting pace of southwest Minnesota farmer Bob Worth.
“You could go from one end to the other and never have to worry about any wet spots or anything like that, so planting went great.”
Speaking to Brownfield in early May, he said corn is emerging but moisture remains a concern.
“It’s just a challenge (with) no rain. If we could get a nice, warm half-inch to an inch of rain (it) would be wonderful.
