The Minnesota Soybean Research and Promotion Council is launching a program to highlight new uses for soybeans and support first responders.

Minnesota Soybean CEO Tom Slunecka says Driving Soy features Goodyear tires made from soybean oil.

“Not only is it renewable, but it’s a better product for the road. These tires perform better than other tires, and we just couldn’t be more excited about showing another way agriculture can solve consumer problems.”

Through Checkoff support both nationally from the United Soybean Board and at the state level, he tells Brownfield more than 40 “soybean counties” in Minnesota will be helping to get the tires out to first responders in their areas.
