The USDA has announced key leadership in the Natural Resources and Conservation Areas. Terry Cosby has been named the Chief of the Natural Resources Conservation Service and Meryl Harrell has been named Deputy Under Secretary for Natural Resources and Environment.
Cosby has been with the USDA for 42 years and has served in numerous capacities, most recently the Acting Chief of NRCS and State Conservationist for Ohio.
Harrell has most recently served as the Executive Director of the Southern Appalachian Wilderness Stewards.
