A light direct cash cattle trade is developing again today.  Deals in Kansas are at $119 live, which’s fully steady with last week’s weighted averages.  Tuesday’s business was marked at $119 to mostly $120, steady to $1 higher than last week’s weighted averages.  Northern dressed business was at $190 to mostly $191, fully steady with last week’s weighted average basis in Nebraska.  Asking prices for cattle are around $120 to $121 live in the South and $192 plus in the North.
