While much of the badger state is just starting to see corn emerge, a farmer in far southern Wisconsin says his corn is already three inches tall and could possibly make six inches by the end of the weekend.
Casey Kelleher farms about 35-hundred acres near Whitewater, Wisconsin with about 2/3rds of those acres planted with corn. He says, “Especially with these ’80s coming this weekend, and we got four-tenths of an inch of rain last night.
