U.S. Senator Chuck Grassley is introducing legislation that would extend the Biodiesel Tax Credit through 2025.
As chairman of the Senate Finance Committee in 2019, Grassley says he successfully negotiated a multi-year extension of the tax credit that is set to expire at the end of next year.
“I want to continue to assist this important industry so that our country can continue to reduce carbon emissions and support Iowa farmers and biodiesel producers.”
On a call with reporters Tuesday, the Iowa Republican mentioned several co-sponsors including fellow Iowa Republican Joni Ernst, Minnesota Democrat Amy Klobuchar, and Kansas Republican Roger Marshall.
