The Missouri Cattlemen’s Leadership College has been going to various leadership events and touring farming operations, mostly cattle focused, around the state.

Jack Long, a member of the Missouri Cattlemen’s College, tells Brownfield the program is providing leadership experience in both the legislative and production sides of the cattle industry which is beneficial to him coming from an animal science background.

“So, I didn’t get to ask too much about the works of the agriculture industry within legislative affairs,” he said.
