Wisconsin’s ag secretary says Memorial Day travelers should take some time to see some of the many family-friendly agriculture-related attractions the state has to offer. Randy Romanski tells Brownfield whether stopping at a cheese factory or a farm tour, it is a great chance to see where food comes from. “You can celebrate something local if you’re from around here, or it’s something that’s easily accessible for people that are traveling through the State of Wisconsin, and there’s always something special from Wisconsin right around the corner.”
Romanski joined lawmakers, local tourism officials, and leaders from the Wisconsin Economic Development Corporation and the Wisconsin Department of Tourism this week at Lonely Oak Farm, a community-supported agriculture farm near Milladore, and Feltz Family Farms and Dairy Store near Stevens Point.
