Consumer packaged goods company Swift Prepared Foods has opened a new plant in Moberly, Missouri. The $68 million facility will produce fully cooked bacon. Parent company JBS says the new plant is expected to create 200 new jobs in the area.
Swift Prepared foods recently announced another facility coming to Columbia. Missouri Governor Mike Parson says it’s exciting to see the company invest in the state. The Columbia location will produce Italian meats and charcuterie.
