Pork producers in Wisconsin are closely watching the latest hiccup in the supply chain.  Wisconsin Pork Association President Jim Magolski tells Brownfield the industry is still recovering from the COVID pandemic, and there is always a risk, but those risks have looked different over the past year. “Look around society. Whether you’re talking about lumber or steel or food, I mean, the supply chain is something that we’ve built historically to be a very efficient model, but the last couple of years have taught us some learnings in how to improve.”

Magolski says this week’s online security breach at JBS is a concern, and it’s still unclear what the impact on producers will be.
