University of Georgia nematologist Melissa Mitchum tells Brownfield researchers are trying to understand why that’s the case.

“But there’s definitely a correlation. So the lower moisture levels in the soil are going to enhance the ability of the nematode to complete its life-cycle and reproduce.”
