Over 700 positive COVID tests were finally added to the state’s online dashboard…a year after the tests were done.

The Des Moines Register reports a private lab failed to report the results from last May and June. Those were added to the state’s database over the past few days, says the Iowa Department of Public Health. The positives were reported to the patients by the private lab, just not to the state.

So, compared to midday yesterday an even 100 positives have been added to the state’s website. Compared to minuses yesterday, Marshall County and Story County both added a net of two positives, with one added in Hardin County.

The state’s death toll related to the rona remains steady at 6,109.
