A group of Republican ranking House committee members is asking the EPA and Army Corps of Engineers to NOT revise the Trump administration’s Navigable Waters Protection Rule. They say it makes little sense to “unravel a final rule that has taken decades of action, litigation and legislation to settle.”
The lawmakers say they’re concerned that revising the regulation will reduce the clarity provided by the current rule and will re-impose a much broader interpretation of federal jurisdiction over the nation’s waters.
