Rain is needed in Tennessee with a multi-week trend of dry weather.  Most crop conditions regressed last week as a result.

Nearly a quarter of the corn crop is silking and 80% rated good to excellent.  Cotton planting is 99% complete with 31% squared and 59% rated good to excellent.  Soybeans are 92% planted and 83% emerged, 75% of the crop is rated good to excellent.  Eighty-two percent of the winter wheat crop has been harvested.
