The USDA says corn, soybean, and wheat demand was stronger than expected during March through May of 2021. The numbers for corn, soybeans, and wheat all fell below pre-report projections.
Corn stocks as of June 1st, 2021 were 4.112 billion bushels, about a hundred million less than the pre-report estimate, and down 18% from June 1st, 2020, with an indicated third quarter disappearance of 3.58 billion bushels, compared to 2.95 billion bushels a year ago.
