Cash cattle trade has been light at midday as the week’s business wraps up ahead of the holiday. The bulk of the week’s business is likely already over with possible clean-up trade after moderate business on Wednesday. Asking prices for cattle left on showlists is $122 plus in the South and $198 plus in the North. Live deals in the South have come in at $120 to $122, steady to $2 lower than last week’s weighted averages.
