Milk futures on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange closed higher Friday with holiday optimism and declines on the corn market supporting prices.
July Class III milk up two cents at $16.79. August down 13 cents at $16.71. September unchanged at $17.28. October up eight cents at $18.11. November through January contracts five to 13 cents higher.
Dry whey unchanged at $0.55.
Blocks up $0.0025 at $1.5550.
Barrels up $0.0150 at $1.50.
