The USDA says much-needed rain was welcomed last week in Ohio.
According to the latest crop progress and condition report, 80 percent of the state’s corn crop and 77 percent of soybeans are in good to excellent condition.
Thirty percent of winter wheat is harvested, and 75 percent of the crop is in good to excellent condition.
