Milk futures on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange closed lower Tuesday following the freefall in grain markets.
July Class III milk down five cents at $16.74. August down 12 cents at $16.59. September down 16 cents at $17.12. October down 11 cents at $18.11. November through January contracts two to 16 cents lower.
Dry whey down $0.02 at $0.53. One sale was made at $0.5375.
Blocks up $0.0675 at $1.6225.
